Flights are offered on a daily basis by British Airways, with most economy class flights operating out of Heathrow to Budapest for around £45 one way, though there are less-frequent flights operating from Gatwick priced at £31 one way. Other operators offering flights include the budget airline Easyjet, the Hungarian national airline Malev, Aeroflot, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Sky Europe, Swiss, United Airlines and Wizz Air. Flights from London to Budapest clock in at around two hours and twenty minutes, and Budapest’s airport – Budapest Ferihegy – offers buses, coaches, minibuses, taxis and car hire to get visitors where they need to be. The airport’s two terminals also offer what is to be expected of an international airport – duty free, bureau de change, restaurants, bars and the like. www.malev.com
